Ground cover should be added last. Place the plant in a sunny room but avoid areas with cold drafts or excessive heat. If the plant seems healthy and strong, give it another chance by carrying it through another growing season — it may just need more time to gather the strength to rebloom. Branches should be feet long, and the cut should be flush with a larger branch or the trunk so as not to deform the plant or provide easy access for insects and disease. The bracts need this exposure to bright light and warmth to help them re-bloom.
